Get Government Grants For Single Mothers

For over eight years I was a single mom. Life was very complicated and many times I did not know where to turn.

My child was disabled and I was in a state of panic. Where will I find assistance or government grants for single mothers?

I had no transportation and I had no job.

Growing up as a military brat had many rewards. I certainly do miss having the privilege of going to the doctor without having to pay. I have been told that now there is a co-payment that must be paid for military dependents.

Things are certainly not like they use to be.

My baby was two months old when I began looking for government grants for single mothers. I knew that I had to find help soon. I searched the internet, read books and ask around for information on government grants for single mothers.

Completing my education was also a high priority on my things to do list. I wanted to continue my education, and I certainly needed sufficient housing. There were government grants for single mothers out there just waiting for me. There were also government agencies that assisted with disabled children. I had so much anxiety, but I knew what I had to do. I could not afford to the cost of child care, education, or housing. I got on the bus, went to a local office and pulled a number for my opportunity to fill out and application. While I was waiting for my number to be called, I noticed a sign in the office that read "

Government Assistance for Single Mothers." I knew that I was in the right place when I saw that sign. After I finally received the application, I began answering the questions. I noticed some of the questions on the application were very personal. Nonetheless, I did not feel embarrassed nor did I take any offended to the questions. More than likely, all government assistance for single mothers' agencies have the same or similar applications.

After being in the office for government grants for single mothers, I decided to visit an office next door to fill out an application for housing assistance. There was no way that I could buy a house; therefore, I knew that I would not be in the first time buyer line up. I am learning a great deal about government grants for single mothers.
